85311 - Alvøy Quilted Jacket
Combining function and fashion, the knitted and wool insulated Alvøy jacket is a new take on the traditional puffer jacket. Replacing the traditional down filling, the Alvøy is padded with wool filling from Norwegian sheep. This is a sustainable and animal friendly alternative to synthetic fiberfill and down filling. The Alvøy jacket features a large, comfortable hood with drawstrings, a full-length front zipper, and zippered front pockets. The colorways are inspired by the mountains of west coast Norway. Thus, you can wear the Alvøy jacket as a fashion piece in the city or as a statement piece in the slopes. The Alvøy jacket is named after a small island on the west coast of Norway. It takes its design cues from the famous Norwegian Sotra sweater, easily recognizable with a pattern of repeated eight-petal roses across. (The original Sotra sweater was part of our collection in the early 1990s).
